Jewellery Care

Jewellery is very precious and should be treated with care to maintain its condition.

Store jewellery in the gift box provided, or a tarnish resistant pouch. Keep each item separate to prevent damage.

Jewellery should be removed prior to bathing, swimming or physical activity and sports. Take care not to drop, bash or scratch any item of jewellery. Certain items of jewellery are particularly delicate and should only be worn for special occasions and not everyday rough and tumble.

It is advisable to regularly check settings and catches on your jewellery to avoid breakages.

When cleaning jewellery, use warm soapy water and a soft cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives. Rinse thoroughly, dab and then air dry thoroughly before storing away or wearing.

Flambeaux jewellery items generally do not require any polishing compound or solution as I do not produce any pieces with a polished or perfect finish.

Specialise in producing organic, unique pieces of jewellery. Imperfections and dramatic textures are the focal features of Flambeaux Jewellery.

Just like nature erodes landscapes and objects, texture on your jewellery will alter, wear and tarnish over time. This is not a manufacturing fault. I recommend that you allow this natural process to occur and to not be concerned.

Why not let the jewellery grow and alter with you? Let the natural beauty shine through.
